Amanda B. (Courtney) Pearson

Amanda B. Pearson, 37 of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed from this life with her family by her side, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 7, 1988 at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska to Jeffrey S. and Tammy C. (Robinson) Courtney.

Amanda worked as a bartender at the VFW. She was a loving mother, daughter, niece, cousin and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family left to cherish the memory of Amanda include one son, Isaac Pearson; two daughters, Laney Neidigh and Dakota Stanley, all of Bloomfield; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Janiece Robinson; uncle Allen Courtney of Greenwood, uncle Bradley (Diana) Robinson of Monroe, TN, aunt Rhonda McKinney and multiple cousins.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Courtney; paternal grandparents, Gene and Mary Courtney, aunt Cindy Fryer, aunt Sandy Whetstine and ex-husband, Brian Pearson.

Funeral services to honor the life of Amanda will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Gregg Orman officiating. Amanda will be laid to rest in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Family and friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Meng Family Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
